answer to frequently asked question: Daily, I sign off saying I am "putting one on the shelf for Lefty". The story behind that is that Lefty was the on air name of my old boss Mikel (Hunter)Herrington, when he did mornings on, and was Program Director of, 98-5 KOME. He was a wonderful, brilliant man, and he passed away about 2 1/2 years ago. I would not have had the success - and fun - that I have had in this crazy career without him, so each day I dedicate my show to him. And thanks for asking!
