what can I bring into the event?

Lawn chairs, blankets, towels, cameras, smiles.

what is not allowed in?

Umbrellas, food, beverages (including bottled water) - There will be plenty of reasonably priced food and drinks available and all procedes benefit Habitat For Humanity (A Non Profit Organization) If you have small children or special dietary needs that will be taken into consideration.

How do I get there?

Discovery Meadow is located at 180 Woz Way, in San Jose. It's at the intersection of W. San Carlos St. and Woz Way right next to the Children's Discovery Museum. For the sake of the environment and convenience, we recommend taking public transportation. (With gas prices the way they are these days it just makes sense!) The light rail comes all the way from Downtown Mountain View, Almaden (South Side) and even Campbell/Los Gatos at Winchester and stops right across the street from the festival grounds. It's easy! You can even get there from the City, Fremont or East Bay by taking CalTrain or Bart and transfering to the VTA lightrail. www.vta.org www.511.org

Parking

There are several parking lots in Downtown San Jose, many of the garages are free or cheap. Please visit the Downtown Association for a map of parking lots.

Where can I lock up my bicycle?

All bicycles must be locked outside the park. Only On-Duty police officers and park rangers will be allowed to bring bikes onto the festival grounds.

Punctuality isn't very Rock N' Roll - so these times are not guaranteed but we're going to do our best to stick to them:
