Laurie Roberts arrived in the South Bay in 1978, after graduating CSU Chico with a degree in Broadcasting, at the legendary KOME radio in San Jose. Since you can take the girl out of Chico, but not the Chico out of the girl, she fit right in.
Laurie spent seven years there as the midday and early evening jock and then went to do mornings on the other legendary Bay Area rocker, KSJO. She loved it and spent much of her 10 years there in midday. Laurie also helped run the joint as Assistant Program Director. In 1995, Laurie became the midday personality at KFOX.
Laurie’s passions include her home in the Santa Cruz Mountains, SF Giants baseball, good wine, her pets, and playing the really cool music she gets to share everyday on KFOX, 102.1 in San Francisco and 98.5 in San Jose.
